How We Come To The Father

The following verses show us how we come to the Father. We come to God because He has called us. No man comes to the Father [God], except that He calls us to Him. Read these verses and rejoice in the fact that not one man alive can take away from us what God has already given to us. All verses from KJV.

And ye shall seek Me, and find Me, when ye search for Me with all your heart. Jeremiah 29:13

·           If we seek God, we will find him, when we are searching for Him with our Whole Heart. Let us search for Him, and we will indeed find Him....He's right there waiting.  God has not forgotten us, in times of deep trouble.  In fact, you may see that God is preparing you for a new beginning with Him at the center.

For God so loved the world, that God gave God's only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in Him should not perish, but have everlasting life. John 3:16.

·           God has called WHOSOEVER  [any person] to Him, that we won't perish.  No one can take that away from anyone else.  GOD has the final say.  Are you one of the whosoever's, but don't realize it?  Come realize it now.

Verily, verily, I say unto you, He [She] that heareth my word, and believeth on him that sent me, hath everlasting life, and shall not come into condemnation; but is passed from death unto life. John 5:24.

·           Any man or woman, who hears God's word and believes in Him, that Christ is our Savior and Lord, will have everlasting life.  If you are reading this, you are a man or woman, and you too can hear God's Word and believe in Him.... come to Him now. Come share the everlasting life that Christ died to give us.  Let His death and His resurrection not be in vain.

All that the Father giveth me shall come to me; and him that cometh to me I will in no wise cast out. John 6:37

·           All those whom the Father lead to begin searching for Christ, when they come to Jesus and recognize him as Savior and Lord, They will not be cast away.  God will not send you away, if you come searching for Him with a true seeker's heart.  Take heart in this promise.

And this is the will of him that sent me, that every one which seeth the Son, and believeth on him, may have everlasting life: and I will raise him [her] up at the last day. John 6:40.

·           God sent His Son, Jesus to Earth, to grow, teach and to die for our sins.... He caused Jesus to rise again 3 days later, to show that death has no dominion over Him.  Therefore, if we are called by God, to Christ, and we believe in Him, then in the last days, men and women who believe in Christ will be raised up to dwell in the Heaven's eternally with Christ.

No man can come to me, except the Father which hath sent me draw him: and I will raise him up at the last day. John 6:44

·           We come to the Father, because He called us, we come to Christ because the Father has called us to Him, we are brought to the Father through the guidance and prodding of the Holy Ghost.  Anyone who chooses to believe in Jesus Christ does so only by the urgings of the Father through the Holy Spirit.   It is up to us to decide whether to believe or not.  It is through God's help that we believe in Christ Jesus.

And he said, Therefore said I unto you, that no man can come unto me, except it were given unto him of my Father. John 6:65

·           No one comes to Christ except that God the Father has called us to Him. Praise His name.   All spiritual renewal both begins and ends with God. He reveals His truth to us, He lives and dwells within us and enables us to respond to His truth.

Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me. John 14:6

·           Because Christ is the way the truth and the life, we have life.  We are drawn to Jesus, by the Father....the only way to reach God, is through the belief in Jesus Christ.  We must call upon Jesus name to be saved.  The way to God is a narrow path, many will not take this path and will perish.  Those who choose to follow the path to Christ will have eternal life. Jesus is the way to the Father, His truth is the the reality of God's promises. His life is the joining of his divine life to ours, both now and eternally.

Jesus answered and said unto him, If a man love me, he will keep my words: and my Father will love him, and we will come unto him, and make our abode with him. John 14:23

·           We must love Christ, keep His words and commandments, and the Father does indeed love us.  We will be drawn to God, and make our home eternally with Him.  I know that I look forward to that day, won't you also?!

For the scripture saith, Whosoever believeth on him shall not be ashamed. Romans 10:11

·           We have no reason to be ashamed of our belief in Christ.  WHOSOEVER believes has no reason to be ashamed, regardless of what others may say or think....if they question your faith and your belief in Christ our Lord, then it's a problem they must come to terms with.  If you know that you are saved, a Child of GOD, then do not be ashamed of telling the World about what GOD has done for you and in your life. They must deal with their own thoughts on your salvation at their own risk.  We are not called to judge another’s salvation...only God has that final authority, so rest assured in your Salvation by doing as God has called you to do. This verse doesn't mean we'll never feel shame or times when we feel let down by other people...it means that God will never fail to provide righteousness to those who believe.

That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised Him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. Romans 10:9.

·           This is how we shall be saved, we must confess with our mouths that Jesus is Lord, and believe in our hearts that God raised Christ from the dead.  It's really that simple.  It cannot be bought or sold or traded....it is God's Gift to us.  Will you accept this gift so freely given....and the price so dearly paid already through the death and resurrection of Christ?!

For whosoever, shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved. Romans 10:13.

·           WHOSOEVER shall be saved:  Call upon the name of the Lord.  There is no condition or special "thing" one must do before coming to God.  We are called to him just as we are....with all our spots, blemishes and warts.  Anyone who says that we must first change "this, that or another thing".... before coming to Christ is not preaching the word of God. God's Word tells us that we are to come to Him just the way we are.....without pretense.

So then faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the word of God. Romans 10:17.

·           Ahhh, so this is how faith comes!!  It comes by hearing; and hearing comes by the Word of God.  What a blessing this is for us all.  Because appearances can be deceiving and we can't see into another's heart, we must beware judging who will respond to the Gospel and who will not....we must also take care not judge another's walk with God, based solely on human aspects, you will undoubtedly get it wrong if you judge based on whether they go to church, tithe, etc......God knows their heart, let Him be the judge of whether or not they have Faith in Him.

Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen. But without faith it is impossible to please God: for he or she that cometh to God must believe that God is, and that God is a rewarder of them that diligently seek God. Hebrews 11:1,6.

·           What is faith?  It is the substance [Essential nature; essence, the core and the heart] of things hoped for and the evidence [proof; something indicative; an outward sign: To indicate clearly; exemplify. To support by testimony; attest] of things not seen.  What does this mean?  Basically, faith is the conviction based on past experience that God's new and fresh surprises will surely be ours.  The beginning point of faith is believing in God's character, and believing in His promises. It means that we have faith in the things that believe that God will do for us....and that even though we don't see it manifested yet, we still believe in Him.  If we do not have faith, then how can we please God?  We must believe that God is the rewarder of all those who seek God's face. And indeed He is.

Here we have the good news that we are called to the Father by HIS Will. It is not up to man to decide whom the Father [God] calls to Him. If you have been told that as a GLBT (gay, lesbian, bisexual or transgendered) person;  or anyone else for that matter that you cannot be a Christian, then look here at the Words of GOD and know the TRUTH. Allow God to talk to your heart and to show you HIS will for your life.

Any Scriptures that contain a [bracket] indicate I've entered my own word after the original word used.
