Beginning at the origination of the church in the first century, he proceeds to the deterioration of the church during the Middle Ages, the restoration of the church from the time of the reformation to present. He also explores the eternal destination of the church in the years to come including the eternal ages. This unique perspective shows graphically the "whys" as well as the "what’s" of church history. Bill Hamon is a valid modern prophet who writes the story of the Church of Jesus Christ from the perspective of one who sees not only the past, but has glimpses into the future. Hamon divides the history of the church into phases based on the restoration of the teachings of Christ that were lost to the church during the dark ages.

Amazon reader review: This book is a powerful overview of what God has been doing throughout the ages and what He's bringing together in this world for His glorious return. I believe this is the authoritative book to read on the moving of God in these end-times. I recommend it highly to everyone that wants to be on the cutting edge of what the Lord is doing today. This book, alongside the prophetic series by Dr. Hamon is inspirational and motivational.

 

 

 

Amazon reader review: I was very impressed with this book. It deals with many truths that have already been restored (faith/grace, holiness, Spirit & water [Jesus' name/full-immersion] baptisms, healings and miracles, etc.), how it was prophesied spiritualities would be restored, and uses an abundance of scriptural references to make its points. The emphasis is on restoring "Body Ministry" which is the work of the entire body of Christ, rather than reliance upon the "ordained" ministry only. Praise, Prayer, and Unity are also strongly emphasized.

The subtitle to this mini-book is "The Outpouring of Heaven's Power for the Harvest." I was very inspired and stirred up after having read Lynne's vision of God's presence being made manifest everywhere in the earth before this age comes to a close. Lynne says we must pray out God's plan on the earth to see this invasion come to pass. She offers scriptural backing for her vision and a wonderful prayer at the end of the book.

 

In The Final Quest Rick Joyner writes about visions and prophetic experiences that unfold the last battle between light and darkness. This book is a call for all Christians to take a stand for truth and righteousness in these troubled times. The Call continues the message, offering a picture of the dawning of the day of the Lord and urging Christians to seize the opportunity to witness for Christ in the last days.
