The Believers Authority

Amazon reader review: This book The Believer's Authority is a simple but very precise exposé of New Testament teaching on the authority of the believer. Yes, let every Christian be hesitant to critique this teaching since Jesus not only gave us His authority, but sacrificed his very life for it. We are now able to live victoriously just as we see the believers in Acts do and we have the unlimited resources to carry the Gospel to every corner of this planet. Criticism is easy but when one has to fight in the frontlines of Kingdom expansion (I live in Amsterdam, the Netherlands) such helpful teaching is received with gratitude despite some of less clear passages that may reveal Hagin's more human side (although some serious allegations have been successfully defeated in The True Story by McIntyre). If our church members would do only have as well in communicating Bible truth, I would applaud them and gladly provide a teaching role.

Love: The Way to Victory

Amazon reader review: I am very fond of Kenneth Hagin's books because he writes from experience... He was healed and raised from his death bed when he was a youth. God has been using him in a healing ministry, and he knows God. God often speaks to him quite directly. This book has really turned me around. Hagin cites practical everyday experiences on how love works, and on how we can make love work. Loving our enemies is not something most of us would embrace, but Hagin shows how unforgiveness is actually detrimental to our own physical and spiritual being. He doesn't pretend to be above us, but cites examples of mistreatment to himself. We identify with him and are subsequently able to understand the reasons why we cannot react in an unkindly manner: It is for our own good that we bless our enemies though human reasoning will not help us understand why. Hagin sets forth the spiritual principles at work when we do what is contrary to human nature: We reap what we sow. Another principle that hits home hard is: to be judges of ourselves and not others. In his encounters with ministers, he has witnessed early demise because of those who are reluctant to be judges of themselves. All in all, Hagin teaches that love will keep us and our families in perfect health. This book is like a soaker hose: It drips wisdom about the second greatest commandment in everyday language into our hearts.

El Shaddai: The God Who Is More Than Enough

Amazon reader review: As is true to life with every book that I have ever read by Rev. Hagin, this one gave a boost to my faith. Rev. Hagin explains how God is indeed "El Shaddai," the God is more than enough in any situation that we face in this life. Gently he explains the power that our God has to strengthen, encourage and pull us through any of life's challenges. Another wonderful book teaching us more about the God we serve and the one who loves us. Well worth your time and certainly a strong help in building your faith.

The Holy Spirit and His Gifts

Amazon reader review: This is one of most excellent and complete studies I've ever seen or used for studying the Holy Spirit and the gifts of the Holy Spirit. Kenneth Hagin provides many years of his experiences with God and the Holy Spirit. This book will answer your questions concerning the ministry and gifts of the Holy Spirit from a Biblical and experiential standpoint.

In Him

Amazon reader review: This book has to be the best or most important book of all written from Hagin. To sum it up in a few words, if you do not know who you are in Christ, this book will point to the scriptures affirming your identity in Christ. It shows where in the scriptures, we can find reference to what we have through Jesus, who we are, and where we stand with Him. This book is must, if you want to be success for God. Warning, the references will lead you to do a lot of homework after you read it, so its not for the lazy or the "read once" crowd.

Amazon reader review: Being in the ministry for over 30 years, I certainly have heard many a person cry out to God for leading in their lives. Rev Hagin has listened to this cry and written a work that will touch your spirit with the understanding of being led by the Spirit of God. Written in a simple way, the reader is able to understand the flow that can be accomplished between themselves and their Creator as Rev Hagin gently shares ways to open up to God's Spirit. If you have been seeking a closer walk with the Spirit of God and you are not sure how to go about achieving this, you will find this book helpful. I truly recommend it for all those that seek His Spirit and His leading.

The Woman Question

Amazon reader review: Published back in 1983, this book rocked the fundamentalists world by boldly proclaiming that women have, and always will be used by God. Grounded in Scripture, historical evidence and laced with a heavy dose of practical sense. Kenneth Hagin persuasively argues the case for women in the "five fold" ministry. Unfortunately he backs off at the last moment and appease the more right wing elements of his movement by agreeing that men should still be in charge if possible. Regardless, as one of the most prominent teachers and preachers in the faith movement. Kenneth Hagin's words carried a lot of weight and opened the door for women such as Gloria Copeland, Joyce Meyer, Juanita Bynum and Jackie McCullough.

The Threefold Nature of Man

Amazon reader review: A simple yet well grounded look at our three fold nature: body, soul and spirit. Rev. Hagin discusses the need to transform each into the image and character of Christ.
